The Music Industry Collective (MIC) is a cross-disciplinary group for students to connect with each other, connect with professionals, and obtain opportunities.
My role while President of The Music Industry Collective included overseeing eight peers on exec, planning weekly internal and external meetings, handling our financial budget, social media management, and conducting outreach with bands, speakers, etc.

My favorite project I have done to date was the concert we hosted in February. We booked 3 local Eugene bands to play on campus, free for anyone! I got to see what it was like to book bands, a venue, make a production schedule, run of show, stage plots, etc. The concert was 6 months in the making but the most fun event I have ever planned.
